Battery Usage:  

Camera - The W220 comes with a rechargeable Sony battery pack and charger. You can expect 500-700 pictures per charge.

Controller Board:  The controller runs on a single alkaline 9V battery and will last 6-12 months.

Easy use and setup:  Two button setup with easy to read LCD screen for making changes to setup. If you are only changing batteries and memory stick and not making any changes to settings  you only turn off motion detector switch before opening camera and then back on when finished. There are no tiny dip switches to fumble with or charts to bring with you to remember which switches do what when making changes to settings. 

Sensor Lens: The 4220 is equipped with a wide angle sensor lens to pick up movement from the side as soon as it is in view of the camera lens 

7 Time delay settings: 10S, 20S, 30S, 1M, 2M, 5M and 10M 

Pictures per event: You can choose for the camera to take 1, 3 or 5 pictures per event 

Picture per event mode:With this mode, you can select 1, 3 or 5 pictures per event, Movie Mode or Activity Mode.  After motion is detected and a picture is taken, the unit will take up to 5 pictures (depending on what you have it set on) approximately 5 seconds apart in the daytime and approximately 12 seconds apart at night; regardless of whether there is still motion or not.  Once the last picture has been taken then the unit starts the delay between pictures again based on the Delay setting.  This can be useful to get different views of the same animal.
           
Movie Mode
With this setting on, you must also have the camera set to record movies.  The unit will record movies 15 or 30 seconds long.

Activity Mode

Activity Mode will allow the sensor to trigger the camera about every 4 seconds.  In this mode, the camera shuts off after 20 seconds of no motion, or after approximately 1 minute, even if there is still motion so that one animal can’t keep it going indefinitely.

4 Sensitivity settings: Low, Medium, High, Extra High 

Day, Night, and 24 Hour Mode 

Walk Test Mode:  When in this mode, the camera will not trigger and you will see a bright LED light up when motion is detected to check your proper alignment and distance. You can set your camera to start up every time in the walk test mode or not
